Glenn TaylorFounder Glenn Taylor brings decades of experience with financial firm recruiting, having built one of the largest executive recruiting firms on Wall Street. Mr. Taylor’s unique introspective style has made him the top recruiter at multiple Wall Street firms for many years running. Having witnessed many cycles within the industry over his many years at the helm, Mr. Taylor leads with his pragmatic style of thoughtful execution and integrity.

HenryIMG_1195 - Version 2Henry “ the connector” Shillet joined the Taylor Steele team back in 2009 as the primary introduction communicator to prospective recruits and teams. Executing on the art of successful recruiting requires a process that accentuates the skill set of the recruiter. Henry’s primary function is to make the first connection successfully so that the primary recruiters assigned to the prospect can then step in on the process to assist. Shillet’s past experiences have aligned him perfectly for his role at Taylor Steele. His professional experience spans decades and includes career stops in Europe and abroad before finally settling into Southern California. Over the years , Henry’s eclectic life experiences helped him to fine tune his prolific telecommunication skills .While many professionals dread the task of cold calling, Henry, on the other hand, has embraced and mastered the art of “first communication” by telephone.

Jeff MorrisJeff Morris comes to Taylor Steele & Associates having been in the financial recruiting industry for over 16 years. With many years experience managing large teams of recruiters at American Express and JPMorgan Chase Jeff has a wealth of industry knowledge and the ability to connect with top advisors nationally. After growing up in Southern California he then moved to NYC where he worked in lower Manhattan until relocating to Chicago in 2003. Jeff has an uncanny passion and energy for financial recruiting and makes sure every client and candidate has an exceptional experience. With out of the box recruiting techniques he is able to find the talent that top financial firms are looking for in a competitive market while developing strong long lasting relationships with his candidate.


Beverly Cole
Business Development

Beverly Cole is recognized as leader with over thirty years’ experience in the area of Business Development. She led Walt Disney and Eastman Kodak to top spots in increasing contract efforts among Diversity Vendors/ Suppliers. Honored in Congressional Record, recognized by the US Senate, House of Representative, by the State of California and by Governor Greg Davis, and was consultant to many Fortune 250 companies, FDIC and SBA.

Ms. Cole owned and managed one of the largest Fast food Franchise in Southern Florida and returned to LA to form Brazo Capital, an investment and capital formation advisory firm located in Los Angeles. Her team specializes in placing international money in US ventures with a focus, on opportunities within the diverse communities.

Ms. Cole’s also was appointed on the board of a US/ Vietnam joint venture to manufacture ISO 9000 eco- sustainable container housing for veterans and homeless Americans.

She is on the board of National Association of Women Business Owners and resides in Glendale, California and


Steve Block

Steve Block comes to Taylor Steele with a diversified and well rounded Professional Business background. Steve’s range of experience includes three prestigious management positions with American Express, as Manager – Gold Card Telephone Service Center, Manager – Gold Card Customer Service and Manager – US Gold/Platinum Card Consumer Relations. He has also held other corporate management positions, owned and operated several successful businesses, taught Business Communications at the university level and most recently held the position of President of Sales and Operations for Caseworks International, Inc. Some of his most notable accomplishments while there were negotiating contracts and licensing agreements with Major League Baseball, the National Football League and the National Hockey League; and the development and 1/3 ownership of several US Patents on display case products.

Steve’s main area of responsibility is to support the Taylor Steele and Associates’ sales force by developing and providing the highest scale marketing efforts, including online campaigns, social media exposure and direct mail programs.


Carol Kirk

Carol Kirk joins Taylor Steele Associates with a diverse background. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology from Florida State University, she spent her early years in sales where she was consistently the top salesperson in her area. More recently, she has been a franchise business owner with multiple locations. Carol is uniquely qualified to bring people together with an understanding of human behavior and business. She enjoys time with her family, swimming, reading, and as a former NCAA bowler in college, she still likes to light up the lanes.


Gordon Frankel-Light

As a graduate of NYU Law School and a licensed attorney, Gordon Frankel-Light (VP, Legal Director) arrives at Taylor Steele and Associates as a well versed communicator and negotiator.  Gordon’s thorough understanding of the new DOL rules and how they apply to new placements involving Financial Advisors, gives Taylor Steele and Associates a legal specialist that puts the company in the best strategic position to negotiate the strongest possible deals under the new DOL guidelines.  Gordon’s legal background is extensive, with specialized concentration as a business counsel overseeing compliance, as it relates to state agency guidelines.

Gordon’s diversified and very successful career has included several Internet start-ups, including the fastest-growing online real estate school on the West Coast.  Gordon spent several years as a business reporter and editor; he has a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern.  Gordon is a sometimes runner and full-blown baseball fan.  He has two daughters and 100% custody of a small white dog.

Hank Yunes joined Taylor Steele bringing 35+ years of diverse business experience. As a CPA with a Master’s degree in taxation from the University of Florida, Hank has an exceptional financial background.  He has held senior executive positions in both private and public companies, including CEO and President of Procom Group, Inc., a publicly held real estate company.  He has spent many years recruiting, training and building senior executive teams. Hank’s strong interpersonal and negotiating skills make him a natural for our business, matching exceptional people with opportunities  that will allow them to prosper financially and continue to grow their businesses.


Paul Ivy

Paul Ivy joins the Taylor Steele and Associates team bringing with him two decades of professional phone sales. A graduate of New York State University, he brings with him over ten years as a commodities broker where he managed millions of dollars of clients investments. His ability to connect with advisors on a visceral level enables him to establish an immediate rapport with prospective recruit candidates. His son is a Corporal in the US Army and Paul’s passions are golf and sailing.

In our current securities and investment advisory industry environment, it is important to take advantage of changes placed upon us rather than become a victim of them. My aim is Identify and introduce opportunities that offer Financial Advisors greater control and productive support that will either enhance their current environment or to better position their practice today for the greatest possible value in a future sunset or sale tomorrow.

My education includes a BA from DePauw University and an MBA from the University of Dayton with a concentration in Economics. I have 30 years of industry experience in which my entry was to build an investment advisory practice which led to branch and regional senior management roles . These positions led to a focus on advisor recruitment and the sale of practices in both in the employee and independent channels.

I reside just outside of Boston , Massachusetts, and look forward to hearing more about what is important to you and the future of your practice. Bob Hinton

Bob has been in the Financial Services Industry for the past 35 years. He worked 26 years with Raymond James Financial Services while 21 of those years were as a successful recruiter. Prior to being with Raymond James, Bob was a Financial Advisor, Branch Manager and Regional Manager with Advest, Inc. He clearly understands what a financial advisor wants and needs from a broker dealer. Bob is a native Virginian who is a graduate of the University of Richmond as well as the Securities Industry Institute at Wharton. He is a CPA and CFP and has served for several years as an Arbitrator with FINRA. Bob’s professional qualifications include significant experience in team leadership, sales management and full cycle recruiting. He has several years in building profitable relationships and maintaining rapport with same.
